Javier Gómezholds a double degree in Las and Business Administration from Universidad de Zaragoza. He is a Tax lawyer specialised in advising companies in Restructuring and Due Diligence operations, and in deals with international projection.
He has extensive experience in providing recurring Tax advice to national and multinational groups on Corporate Tax, Indirect Taxation, Tax procedures, International Taxation and Tax closures, as well as in the preparation of studies and reports related to these matters. He has also experience in the design, review and implementation of Transfer Pricing policies, as well as in the valuation of related-party transactions in accordance with the arm’s length principle, and in carrying out global documentation projects in relation to multinational groups operating in different economic sectors such as finance, energy, infrastructure, engineering, automotive, industrial, technology, consumer goods, services and family businesses.
Javier holds an executive Master’s degree in Business Law from Centro de Estudios Garrigues-Harvard Law School, as well as a Specialisation Programme in Private Banking and Financial Advice from the IEB.
He started his career at Garrigues Zaragoza office as a Tax advisor and joined Mazars in 2013, where he became Tax manager in 2017, and from where he now joins Toda & Nel-lo Madrid office.
