“American Legal Dream”: a new tool for entrepreneurs and lawyers who want to conquer the USA

-

Luis Agramunt, Juris Magister’s founder and partner, presents his “American Legal Dream” newsletter to Legal Dealmaker’s readership. This new tool, which specialises in Visas, Green Cards, and Citizenship in the USA, is aimed primarily at entrepreneurs, investors and professionals with business, investment, or professional interests in the United States, as well as their advisors and, most especially, to his professional colleagues both from law firms and in-house legal departments.

What is about and what are the objectives of this newsletter “American Legal Dream”?

“American Legal Dream” is my new LinkedIn Newsletter about Visas, Green Cards and Citizenship in the United States which may be obtained through Business, Investment or Professional Achievements.

This specialised Newsletter that I am now launching is addressed mainly to Entrepreneurs, Investors and Professionals with business, investments, or professional interests in the United States, as well as their advisors or consultants, and especially to my professional colleagues.

The Newsletter will deal with specific topics of my legal speciality and practice, updated with the experience accumulated over the years, focussing on very current legal issues.

“I believe that this Newsletter will be of interest both to those who are new to the Spain-United States business relations and to those who, as part already of the Spanish-American Community, some legal and tax topics in continuous change affect the lives of ourselves, our business and our families.”

What specific needs are you looking to meet with this new tool?

Any entrepreneur, investor or foreign professional in the USA is exposed to many legal requirements that Citizens of the United States do not have to face, and for many of them, along with their business or professional success, obtaining a Visa legally required to operate its business, to be able to renew it at the end of its initial validity, to later obtain a Green Card for Permanent Residency and, one day to become a United States Citizen, this constitutes a prime objective to achieve over time, better yet, it may become a true “American Legal Dream”.

Likewise, updated publications about corporate structures in the United States -such as Corporations, Limited Liability Companies and Delaware Companies- required to develop business in the United States will also be an important part of this Newsletter.

Besides entrepreneurs, who might be interested in following this new Newsletter?

The Newsletter will address interesting matters for my professional colleagues and their professional law firms, such as the establishment of lawyers and/or legal advisors in the United States, access to the legal practice, the type of legal/tax corporate entity recommended, and of course, the most appropriate type of Visa to practice law in the United States.

For my fellows In-house Legal Counsellors, in addition to the above, current legal matters such as the change of corporate residency or nationality, joint ventures and mergers & acquisitions which may affect their legal status in the United States will also be addressed properly by the Newsletter.

From Legal Dealmaker, we know that you are not alone in this new adventure that, so far, has been very well received. In just a few days, it has reached +500 subscriptions… This is a big responsibility.

I’m very lucky to have the support of the members of my firm and some of my colleagues, specialists in legal and tax matters and who have already collaborated with me in some of my previous publications, which would not be nearly the same without their valuable contributions.

Please, briefly summarise the meaning of this new information tool you are proposing.
