CC counsels Grenergy on PV sale in Spain

Clifford Chance has advised Grenergy Renovables on the sale of a 300 MW PV portfolio located in Spain

Clifford Chance has advised Grenergy Renovables, a listed renewable energy player specialising in the development, construction and management of photovoltaic, wind and storage projects, on the sale of a circa 300 MW solar portfolio located in Spain to Allianz Capital Partners (on behalf of Allianz insurance companies and other institutional investors) for EUR 270.6 million (enterprise value). The closing is subject to the fulfilment of certain conditions and is expected to take place in 2025.

Clifford Chance’s team was led by partner Luis Alonso, counsel Javier Hermosilla and associates Juan Valcárcel and Íñigo Navarrete from the Corporate / M&A department.
