Nexxo Legal-Tech, a new legal boutique

Jesús Capitán and Carlos Valencia have co-founded Nexxo Legal-Tech, a legal boutique specialised in corporate advice oriented to the start-up ecosystem and companies with business models underpinned by DLT and Blockchain technologies, Tokenisation, Web3 and cryptoassets

The new boutique has been co-founded by lawyers Jesús Capitán and Carlos Valencia.

Jesús Capitán has extensive experience advising projects in the commercial-financial field. He specialises in the practice of Venture Capital & Private Equity. He also has extensive training in matters relating to the intersection of technology and law, which enables him to be at the forefront of advising on business models based on disruptive technologies. He has developed his professional career in firms such as Garrigues and was Legal counsel at Abengoa, and later at [A] CODE Abogados (now integrated into Zurbarán) as a Corporate & Finance lawyer. He is a Law graduate from Universidad Pablo Olavide, and holds a Master´s degree in Legal advice to Companies from Centro de Estudios Cajasol and a Master´s degree in Strategic Management and Law -MCI- (Innsbruck, Austria), as well as various specialisation postgraduate studies (Blockchain, Legaltech, Full Stack and Venture Capital).

Carlos Valencia specialises in legal advice and analysis of projects with business models and economic structures related to disruptive technologies. As a project analyst for the selection of various Venture Capitals, he has extensive experience in developing projects in the ecosystem of decentralised finance. His experience and knowledge in these areas make him a highly competent professional in the technological world and in the creation of innovative business models. He is a Law graduate from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and holds various postgraduate specialisation programmes (Decentralised Finance, Blockchain, NFTs and the Metaverse).
