Julia Rubio Hípola joins Deloitte Legal from Garrigues, where she has been working for the last ten and a half years. She was a senior associate in the Tax department, belonging to the international tax practice area.
She has extensive experience providing ongoing Tax advisory services to numerous companies, mostly multinationals, from a broad range of sectors, in particular in the area of Spanish investments abroad, foreign investments in Spain and, in general, in the area of nonresident taxation. She also has experience in German Tax Law following a secondment in 2017 in the tax department of the firm Flick Gocke Schaumburg in Frankfurt.
In addition, she regularly advises on the Tax implications of Restructurings and Acquisitions, performing the analysis and implementing the investment and divestment structures. She also provides ongoing advice on Tax inspections as well as on appeals in the economic-administrative and judicial review jurisdictions.
Julia holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration from Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, a Master´s degree in Business Law and another in International Tax, both from Centro de Estudios Garrigues.
