Moira Capital Partners has closed the year with its 14th investment. IEQSY is a Spanish company specialising in the design and manufacture of systems to optimise and improve electricity consumption in industry. Thanks to a unique innovative technology, developed by its founder Alfredo José Jimenez Guedez, it saves between 10% and 18% in the energy consumption of its clients, including Vodafone, FCC, Aqualia, Valeo, Fagor Arrasate S. Coop. EDERLAN, Parfois, McDonald’s and Fnac.
Moira will inject €10 million in IEQSY Improve Energy Quality.
The deal will be carried out through a capital increase of €10 million that the company will use to finance its business plan, which includes: strengthening the team, the move to new facilities, as well as greater investment in R+D+i. With this capital injection, MOIRA will obtain a stake in IEQSY of around 30% of the company.
Founded in 2019, IEQSY has a unique, innovative and differential technology. Alfredo Jiménez Guédez, founding partner of the company, with more than 30 years dedicated to R+D+i in the world of energy efficiency, has discovered how to apply the properties of electromagnetic induction to achieve clean energy without losses. The energy savings generated for his clients range between 10% and 18%, which is between 3 or 4 times more than the existing alternatives on the market today.
