The new five aircraft will be added to the five already incorporated to Binter from 2019 and with which Binter became the first European airline to fly with this model.
The purchase consisted of five new Embraer aircraft for €389 million. Two will arrive in November 2023, two in December and the remaining one in April 2024. The E195-E2 is the largest and most modern aircraft in the E-Jet E2 family of medium-range twin-engine business jets, and they have been ordered with the same special 132-seat, single-class configuration that allows for a comfortable 79 centimetre seat pitch.
“Once again, it has been a luxury to have been able to advise on this transaction, experiencing first-hand the growth and consolidation of a great leader in inter-island and national air transport. My most sincere congratulations to the entire Binter team for this new acquisition,” said Deloitte Legal partner Ignacio Medina
The Deloitte Legal team advising Binter was led by partner Ignacio Medina Alonso, together with senior associate Gisela Raab, and included Tax senior associate Vicente Falcón Padrón, and Tax associate Esther Núñez Amaral.
