Damián Flores is lawyer with over ten years of experience in Insolvency and Restructuring, Litigation and Arbitration, and Tax planning.
Damián started his career at Allen & Overy in 2011, and joined BakerMckenzie Madrid in 2012, where he spent three years working in Arbitration, Insolvency, Litigation, Wealth Management and Contracts. He later worked at Andersen and at De Carlos Remón, and joined Sareb in 2018, where he has been working in different posts until his appointment as responsible of Insolvency, establishing the legal criteria and strategies for the perimeter of Insolvency proceedings in which Sareb holds credit rights, and managing and supervising the internal Sareb Insolvency Legal team.
Sareb (Sociedad de Gestión de Activos procedentes de la Reestructuración Bancaria, S.A.) manages and sells loans and properties and pays off the debt guaranteed by the State. It was established in 2012, in the midst of the real estate crisis, as a result of the agreement between the Spanish and European authorities.
Damián holds a Law degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, as well as several postgraduate studies on Insolvency, Energy Law, Real Estate Law and Community Law.
