Throughout her outstanding career, she has been a member of the Board of Directors and headed the Legal advisory teams of major financial institutions such as Banco Santander, Santander Investment, and Banesto, and of leading national law firms such as Uría Menéndez and Gómez Acebo & Pombo.
She is a specialist in the management of board secretaries of financial institutions and listed companies; syndicated, asset, and derivative financings; and M&A and financial transactions (both domestic and cross-border) in a wide range of sectors.
Amelia Buergo is a Law and Business Administration & Management graduate from ICADE and completed the Management Development Programme (PPD) at IE Business School.
