The international Legal community is mourning the death of Ricardo Echevarría, who passed away on Friday 20, at the age of 57

The international Legal community is mourning the death of Ricardo Echevarría, who passed away on Friday 20, at the age of 57. Partner since he joined the firm in 2000 from Grupo ACS, and member of the firm´s Board of Directors, he was a renowned expert in public and private works contracts, advising businesses from the real estate sector in Real Estate & Town Planning matters. He was also an expert in Real Estate and Construction Litigation.

Ricardo was a member of the Madrid Bar Association and widely recognised by all the international Legal directories and publications (Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, Best Lawyers, Who’s Who Legal, Expert Guides, Leaders League and Legal 500) in Real Estate & Construction, Litigation, Planning, and Retail. He was part of the team that advised Culmia on its recent €300 million investment in Alcobendas (Valgrande).

“The partners and all of us at Cuatrecasas deeply regret the sudden death of our great friend and colleague. His kindness, wise advice and enormous knowledge will remain with us all,” the firm stated.
