He will now support the achievement of the company strategic and sustainable growth, lead its expansion and cross border activity partnering with potential investors and guide the team to encourage and motivate performance and dedication through communication, problem-solving orientation and practice active listening.
Daniel has a solid expertise advising cross-border transactions, incorporating the most suitable investor structures (he has settled several funds and investments structures in Spain). His expertise ranges large type of real estate transactions: acquisitions, sale-and- lease-back transactions, mergers and acquisitions of real estate companies, sale and purchase of land and real estate development projects. Highlight mandates include some of the main real estate transactions in the Hospitality and Luxury Real Estate in Spain.
He has been advising foreign capital investing in Spain as Real Estate partner at Cases & Lacambra law firm for ten years: institutional investors, family offices and private equity firms. His area of practice also includes transactional corporate and resolution of international conflicts between private entities, public administrations, Governments and International financial institutions, such the World Bank, EBRD, EU Institutions.
He started his career in the Competition law firm Martínez-Lage, Allendesalazar & Brokelmann after being in the cabinet of the former Member of the European Parliament and VP of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs and Foreign Minister of Spain.
Daniel has been a speaker at some of the main forums on international investment and internationalisation of companies, both private and public initiatives, with publications in the relevant national and international economic and legal business press. He has also lectured at the Faculty of Law, Sofia University.
He is a Law graduate from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and holds a Master´s degree in International Law and Legal Studies from IEB.
