Worldline, a company specialised in secure payments that designs and operates leading digital payment and transactional solutions, has hired lawyer Mónica García Rodríguez as the company´s new global head of Legal.
Mónica joins from Spain-headquartered Auxadi, a leading firm providing accounting, reporting, compliance & payroll solutions internationally, where she was head of Legal & Compliance.
Mónica is a Law graduate from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and holds an LLM in Intellectual Property and New Technologies from Universidad Internacional de la Rioja (UNIR), as well as a Corporate/M&A programme from IE Law School.
She started her career as a trainee at Clifford Chance, and was later hired by the former Eversheds Lupicinio as an IP & Litigation lawyer, and later by Baker McKenzie. She spent six years as a senior lawyer at Moscardó, focusing on international Commercial Arbitration and Litigation, actively involved in legal advice to technology and retail companies, among others, both in Corporate and Intellectual Property matters.
