WIRES appoints two renowned Legal directors to its BoD

The association Women in Real Estate Spain (WIRES) presents its new Board of Directors, which includes Coro Morales as secretary and Mónica Sanz as Legal member

-

According to El Observador Inmobiliario, Wires, which brings together female directors and executives from the national real estate world, has presented its new Board of Directors after renewing several of its positions at the last general assembly.

Ana Sacristán, founding member and, until now, secretary; Patrizia Laplana, founding member and member for events; Mónica Regaño, legal member; and Mabel Madrigal, member for members, are leaving the board of directors after several years at the forefront of the association.

They are replaced by Coro Morales, Mónica Sanz, Lola Carnicero and Débora Serrano. In addition, as a novelty this year, a new international committee has been created in line with the 2022 strategy, which Lola Ripollés, who until now held the position of network committee member, will take over.

Thus, the new board of directors will be formed by: Carmen Panadero, as president; Leticia Ponz, vice-president; Coro Morales, secretary; Carmen Méndez, treasurer; Mónica Sanz, legal member; Virginia Fernández, communication member; Ariadna Belver, sponsorship member; Lola Carnicero, events member; Débora Serrano, members’ member; and Lola Ripollés, international member.

The management team’s strategy for this year is mainly focused on “promoting talent” and “broadening the base of members”, with the creation of the Impulsa division, which will include women who do not necessarily hold management positions. Wires also wants to boost the international focus, promote a strategy based on sustainable development objectives and, finally, consolidate the social responsibility category.

With regard to the new additions in the legal field, Coro Morales has more than 30 years of experience as Legal director in the main companies in the real estate sector, where she has also worked as secretary and deputy secretary of the Board of Directors, holding, in many of them, the position of Board member. She left Aedas Homes past year to be a specialised RE law services provider at CMA Asesoría Legal.

Mónica Sanz, Avintia’s current Legal director, has more than 20 years of experience managing Legal departments in the real estate and construction sectors and has been a member of numerous Boards of Directors.
