WFW Corporate senior associate moves to A&O

Allen & Overy has hired Enrique Thomas de Carranza as a Corporate/M&A associate, joining from WFW, where he was a senior associate in the firm´s Corporate group

Enrique, who joins Allen & Overy from Watson Farley & Williams, wher he was a senior associate Madrid Corporate Group, specialises in advising Spanish and foreign clients on M&A transactions, corporate dealings and business restructuring; he also advises companies on various diverse corporate matters, mainly in the energy & infrastructure sector.

He regularly advises Spanish and foreign companies on various types of commercial contracts, including supply, distribution and lease agreements, as well as with power purchase agreements and operation and maintenance agreements.

He joined WFW in 2017 from Gómez-Acebo & Pombo, wher he was seconded to Secondee in AIG M&A Division.

Enrique holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, and an LLM from IE Business School. He has been part of some of the most relevant Energy deals advised by WFW, usually under the direction of partners María Pilar García Guijarro and David Díez.
