WFW advises on €213m refinancing of 49.9 MW Saeta Yield CSP plant

Watson Farley & Williams has advised a syndicate of banks and institutional investors (“Lenders”) on €213m refinancing of the 49.5 MW Manchasol-2 CSP plant owned by Saeta Yield S.A., located in Alcázar de San Juan, Ciudad Real (Spain)

Madrid-headquartered Saeta Yield manages a 936.5 MW portfolio of wind, photovoltaic and solar thermal energy assets in Spain as well as 95 MW and 144 MW of wind energy assets in Uruguay and Portugal respectively.

The WFW Madrid Finance team was led by partner Rodrigo Berasategui, working closely with senior associate Jacobo Hermidas and associates Antón Ramil and Arancha Ruesta.

On this deal, Rodrigo commented: “We are very pleased to have assisted Saeta Yield, once again on optimising their debt and taking effective advantage of the current liquidity in the Spanish financial markets.
