Vento Abogados & Asesores has taken a new step in its expansion plan, consolidating its position as a leading national legal and business consultancy firm. The company has just strengthened its headquarters in Madrid, opened at the beginning of the year, with the integration of Sánchez-Iniesta Abogados, a leading firm in the banking and financial sector.

Vento now strengthens its headquarters in Madrid and the Banking and Recoveries Area, a key department in the strategy of the legal services company.

The Sánchez-Iniesta Abogados team, led by Juan Manuel Sánchez Iniesta and Borja Sánchez Robledo, is now part of Vento’s organisational structure.

Juan Manuel Sánchez Iniesta is a lawyer specialising in banking litigation and recoveries. Throughout his more than 35 years of professional career, he has worked as director of the recovery and litigation services of leading financial institutions, accumulating extensive experience in asset stripping, recoveries and banking procedures.

After founding and managing Sánchez-Iniesta Abogados since 2000 and turning it into a benchmark firm in the Spanish banking sector, he joins Vento.

Borja Sánchez Robledo is a lawyer specialising in banking litigation and recoveries. In his 13 years of experience, he has worked as an external counsel for leading financial institutions and investment funds.

In addition, Sánchez Robledo is an expert lecturer at ISDE’s Big Data programme, reaffirming Vento’s commitment to continuous training and innovation in the legal field.

By incorporating the highly specialised team of Sánchez-Iniesta Abogados, Vento strengthens its banking area. At the same time, their knowledge will be of great help to other departments such as Civil, Commercial and Corporate, Criminal or Insolvency.
