Top Real Estate Legal Dealmakers in Spain

-

Legal Dealmaker´s best lawyers in the Spanish Real Estate practice

Legal Dealmaker is honoured to present its list of the Top Real Estate Legal Dealmakers in the private practice in Spain. They are Real Estate lawyers who have been selected for their expertise and experience in a wide range of Real Estate matters. They all stand out for their market-leading Real Estate practice, spanning high-value transactions and developments, are renowned for their top-tier handling of Real Estate development projects and related transactions, and have demonstrated significant experience in complex Real Estate portfolios and projects.

The Spanish Legal services industry has begun to evolve its Real Estate strategy in light of changes caused by the coronavirus pandemic, and these prominent figures have tackled the health crisis to keep the market up to the highest standards.

Some of them are veterans and longtime recognised Real Estate lawyers by renowned international Legal directories (Chambers & Partners, Legal500, Best Lawyers, WWL…), others are mid-level partners, and we even find some emerging stars that, on their way to partnership, are starting to lead some of the most important RE deals in Spain, frequently involved in complex cross-border multidisciplinary deals, as well as in all kinds of Real Estate oriented deals: leases, financing, restructuring, construction. etc.

Even if the research shows that men are still leading the Real Estate Legal market in Spain, Legal Dealmaker also values the fact the glass ceiling is starting to shatter, and we find leading RE women lawyers in Spain, a tendency we are convinced that will continue in the upcoming years, demonstrating the fact that top talent does not know about gender.

This selection, in alphabetical order, goes beyond national impact, since the Spanish Commercial Real Estate market is one of the most active in Europe. According to the European Public Real Estate Association, Spain concentrates more than half of the total number of REITs operating in the Eurozone at the close of 2021 (75 our of 144), bringing the capitalisation of REITs to €22.58 billion.

As on every recognition list, it cannot include all the best lawyers, but this media can attest that the ones included here are part of the best Real Estate Legal Dealmakers in the Spanish market.
