The firm specialised in printing and IT services, Grupo Solitium, owned by ProA Capital, has closed the acquisition of the Murcian company Copimur, known by its commercial brand Novac. The Murcian company, with presence in the province of Alicante, has been advised in the transaction from the legal point of view by the Alicante law firm Devesa & Calvo.
Grupo Solitium, a Spanish partner of the multinational HP, specialises in IT services, print and document management solutions, professional printing, cybersecurity and 3D printing. With headquarters in Zaragoza, more than 1,200 employees and an annual turnover of more than €100 million, Solitium consolidates with this acquisition its leadership in the Spanish Mediterranean.
Copimur, founded almost 40 years ago and headquartered in Murcia, also provides services in Almeria, Alicante, Albacete and Madrid. Under the Novac brand name, it offers printing equipment solutions, document management software and consultancy, as well as digitalisation and audiovisual services. With a workforce of more than 60 employees, last year it had a turnover of more than €8 million.
The Spanish group owned by the ProA Capital fund, the new majority shareholder of Villena Agrícola, is the national leader in this sector, and the incorporation of Copimur is part of its expansion plan.
On the sale of the Murcian company, the owner family, instructed Devesa & Calvo, advising with founding partner David Devesa, Commercial partner Antonio Botella, together with Commercial senior associate Patricia Carrera and lawyer Anton Semik, and working together with Livingston Partners with partner Ximo Villarroya.
