SPB lures partner head of Data Protection and Cybersecurity from KPMG

Squire Patton Boggs has hired Bartolomé Martín as partner responsible for its Data Protection and Cybersecurity areas

Martín joins from KPMG Abogados, where he joined in 2019 as the new head of the New Technologies and Intellectual Property Law department, he has more than 15 years of experience advising national and international clients on all aspects of e-commerce and in the framework of technological and (more recently) digital transformation projects.

According to Expansión Jurídico, his experience in the field of data protection covers all aspects of Data Protection, from the design and implementation of GDPR compliance exercises to the complete design of national and cross-border Data Protection systems.
