Berta Blasco holds a Law degree from Universidad de Zaragoza, with a foreign stay at Queen´s University Belfast.
She started her career at Cuatrecasas Zaragoza office. Then, she became part of the Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO) Legal service, and, in 2015, she joined Raón y Cajal Abogados in Madrid as a Banking & Finance lawyer. She later joined Herbert Smith Freehills in 2018, from where she now joins DLA Piper in Luxemburg as a senior associate in the firm´s Finance, Projects & Restructuring area.
At HSF, Berta was part of the team that advised Glennmont Partners on its entry into the Spanish onshore wind market in 2021.
Together with Berta, DLA Piper Luxemburg has also hired lawyer Irene Tamés de la Sierra, who joins the same team from Deloitte Legal Madrid. irene holds a Law degree from Universidad de Valencia with a foreign stay at Middlesex University, and two Master´s degrees from Centro de Estudios Garrigues.
