With this signing, the Madrid-based firm strengthens an area that, since its inception, has been a fundamental pillar for the consolidation and expansion of the firm.

With a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid, and with Master’s degrees and certifications from the Instituto de Empresa, the Spanish Institute of Financial Analysts (IEAF) and the European Financial Planning Association, Pérez Tapia has almost two decades of experience in Tax matters, with a high level of specialisation in Tax and estate planning for large wealth, M&A transactions and Tax advice to business groups.

“As head partner of the Tax department, it is my fundamental objective to provide a quality, rigorous and diligent service to all our clients, with the aim of placing this area and the firm itself among the leading firms in the Spanish legal sector,” said the lawyer in reference to his imminent incorporation.

Grateful for this new professional challenge, Pérez Tapia acknowledges that he faces this new stage with enthusiasm, but “with the responsibility and commitment” to repay the trust placed in him “through hard work that will allow us to face the challenges of the Spanish legal market and of a firm in full expansion.”

Throughout his career, Héctor has worked in law firms such as Deloitte or Cuatrecasas and in private banking entities such as BANIF, Santander Private Banking or CoreCapital Finanzas. His professional career also includes his work as a teacher. He currently teaches on a Master’s degree at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, in various professional associations and, previously, at the Universidad Carlos III. He has also published numerous technical publications in the field of Tax Law.
