Javier is highly focused on M&A and Corporate Law. He has wide experience advising national and international companies and funds, particularly in the areas of private equity, energy, and infrastructure, in both investment and divestment processes.
He began his professional career at Lener, in 2004. Then, for a period of 2 years (2010-2012), he joined Línea Directa Aseguradora as the responsible for the Corporate area of the Legal Department. Between 2012 and 2017, he became part of the Corporate department of Osborne Clarke, as senior associate. He joined Ramón y Cajal as of counsel one year ago.
Javier has wide experience advising mainly on projects of M&A (sale and purchase of shares and assets, shareholders’ agreements, Corporate Restructuring, and due diligence processes). He also provides advice on Corporate matters (secretary, amendments to articles of association, share capital changes, rights, and duties of shareholders and directors, etc.) and Commercial contracts (joint venture, cooperation, services, and lease agreements, among others).
