RyC adds Tomás Peña Grande as Corporate & Commercial partner

Ramón y Cajal Abogados has incorporated Tomás Peña Grande, State Attorney on a leave of absence, as a partner to reinforce its Corporate & Commercial team

State Lawyer, on a leave of absence since 2016, Tomás was number one in his promotion. As such, he has held the positions of deputy head of the central legal service of the AEAT and the Audiencia Nacional, as well as collaborator in the international arbitration department of the Kingdom of Spain in the field of renewable energies. In the service of the AEAT, he was responsible for legal assistance and defence in civil, criminal, contentious-administrative, and social orders, as well as the coordination of insolvency proceedings and the most relevant legal matters for the Agency.

He holds a PhD in Law and has been an associate professor at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid since 2021.

Francisco Palá, managing partner of the firm, highlighted his “extraordinary academic and professional career.”

Tomás joins the firm as a corporate partner to strengthen a growing area that requires multidisciplinary profiles to offer our M&A clients comprehensive advice.
