The diagnostic imaging, outpatient and oncology services group Affidea has acquired 100% of Clínica Tecma, an outpatient medical provider in Alzira (Valencia). RSM Spain conducted Due Diligence and acted as Affidea’s Legal and Tax advisor, while Vasalto carried out the Labour Due Diligence, Affidea said in a statement.
Clínica Tecma attends more than 300,000 visits a year, offering more than twenty medical specialities, laboratory tests, dentistry, medical check-ups for drivers, weapons and nautical licences and rehabilitation and physiotherapy treatments. With this acquisition, Affidea now has 37 centres in Spain, serving a total of more than 500,000 patients each year. On a national scale, Affidea will have close to a thousand professionals providing services at its facilities, of which 200 come from Clínica Tecma.
RSM has been involved throughout the process, carrying out Financial, Legal and Tax Due Diligence, as well as Legal advice until the closing of the transaction, with a team led by partner Gonzalo de la Torre, together with partner David Jiménez advising on Tax matters and partner Guy Richard on Corporate Finance.
