RSM has advised the Affidea Group on a new strategic acquisition in Madrid, the purchase of 100% of three polyclinics in Madrid: Centro Infanta Mercedes, El Mirador and Radiodiagnóstico Colmenar Viejo, the latter two belong to Lendyfolk Assistance.
The three medical centres carry out 300,000 medical reports a year and have a staff of 110 professionals, eighty of whom are doctors, the company announced in a statement. In addition to diagnostic imaging, they have a range of outpatient specialties such as allergology, clinical analysis, pathological anatomy, vascular angiology, cardiology, general surgery and digestive system, among others. These polyclinics have more than thirty medical entities and several clinical analysis laboratories and serve both publicly and privately funded patients.
In total, Affidea España serves more than 545,000 patients a year, following the recent acquisition of Clínica Tecma in Alzira (Valencia), announced last June.The transaction strengthens its leading position in the provision of diagnostic imaging and outpatient care services.
RSM, together with Vasalto, has been involved in the entire process, carrying out Financial, Legal and Tax Due Diligence, as well as Legal advice until the closing of the transaction.
