Rödl & Partner opens office in Palma de Mallorca

Headed by Katja Conradt, Rödl & Partner has opened a new office in Palma de Mallorca, which, after Madrid and Barcelona, is its third location in Spain and its fifth one on the Iberian Peninsula

-

The new opening, according to managing partner Georg Abegg, reacts to the growing demand for services in Spain from international clients in general and, more specifically, from German Speaking clients coming from the so-called D-A-CH Region (Germany-Austria-Switzerland). This rise in demand is due, among other reasons, to the consideration of the Balearic Islands as one of the preferred destinations for investors not only for residential purposes but also important to develop their business activities.

The new office will be headed by Katja Conradt, who joined Rödl & Partner in 2007, working first in Madrid and most recently in Stuttgart. Katja is a dual-qualified lawyer in Spain and Germany and is a recognised lawyer specialising in international business law. This area complements the areas already practised by Rödl & Partner, such as M&A, commercial, real estate, tax, litigation, labour, and TMC (technology, media, and telecommunications) perfectly.

Katja Conradt is trilingual (German, English, Spanish) and brings, as a result of her multicultural vita and long-standing experience in international advice for both private and corporate clients, a broad knowledge, which makes her the ideal consultant not only for German investors but also for investors of other nationalities.
