Rödl & Partner, Garrigues advise on acquisition of DOLZ group by Litens Automotive from Realza

Rödl & Partner Spain has advised the Canadian group Litens Automotive on the acquisition of 94% of the DOLZ group of companies from the Spanish Private Equity fund Realza Capital, which was advised by Garrigues

Spanish asset manager Realza Capital has sold Industrias Dolz to Canadian group Litens Automotive, which is boosting its growth in the automotive aftermarket in Spain. In this new phase, the Castellón-based manufacturer -a world leader in automotive water pumps- will continue to operate independently under the leadership of its CEO, Jesús Dolz, who remains as a minority partner. According to El Economista, the amount of the transaction has exceeded €100 million.

Garrigues’ team advising Realza Capital was led by partners Víctor Chiquero and José Manuel Martín, who counted on the support of senior associate Beatriz Gimeno.

The advice provided by Rödl & Partner Spain has included Legal, Tax and Audit teams, being led by project manager and coordinator Ramón Marés, who worked closely with Litens Automotive and advise them on this acquisition, both in the Due Diligence phase and in the drafting of the transaction documents.
