Ibervalles Socimi has acquired two buildings in Madrid, with a combined surface area of 11,900 m2, which belonged to Inmobiliaria Colonial. The addition of these assets to the company’s portfolio is in line with its strategy of investing in offices with high appreciation potential in Madrid, Barcelona, and Lisbon.
Ibervalles will refurbish and optimise the management of the buildings. The objective is to update architectural aspects and increase their level of sustainability, technology, and comfort. In this way, the assets will be adapted to the needs currently demanded by companies. Javier Isidro, CEO of Ibervalles Socimi, points out that “the acquisition of these assets is a clear example of the company’s strategy as an investment and value creation vehicle”. He also points out that “this transaction will allow us to reposition the two buildings as offices adapted to current market demands in a tight timeframe and in an alternative office market with good projections”.
RocaJunyent Real Estate team was led by of counsel Dolors Roca, partner Roger Pla and associate Carlos Fernández.
A team from Uría Menéndez advised Ibervalles on this deal.
