RocaJunyent adds Competition partner from DWF-RCD

RocaJunyent has hired Gerard Pérez Olmo, who joins from DWF-RCD, as a new partner in the EU and Competition Law area in its Madrid office

The new partner is an expert in anti-competitive practices, merger control, damages claims and unfair competition, as well as regulatory matters in a wide range of sectors, including energy, health, telecommunications and transport.

Gerard Pérez Olmo has been, to date, the partner in charge of Competition and Global Compliance at DWF-RCD, a firm he joined in 2020 after founding 2008 the legal boutique Gold Abogados, winner of the Client Service Award-Spain from Chambers & Partners. In his more than 20 years of professional experience, Gerard Pérez Olmo has also practised at the firms DLA Piper, SJ Berwin and B. Cremades & Asociados.
