RetailCo adds Legal counsel from Mango

RetailCo, the retail real estate asset manager of Banco Santander, has hired Ana Sánchez García de Arboleya as a Legal counsel, joining from Mango

Ana Sánchez is a Law graduate from Universidad de Barcelona, where she took an exchange programme at Universiteit Gent, and holds a Master´s degree in Legal Practice from ISDE Law & Business School and a Legaltech programme from ESADE.

She started her career as a practising lawyer at Ramón y Cajal Abogados Barcelona office, working in the firm´s Litigation department. She joined Mango as a Legal counsel in 2017, also in Barcelona.

She now joins RetailCo, as part of the company´s latest hiring round, together with two leasing managers that join from Savills and Cushman & Wakefield.

Santander launched RetailCo in April 2021 as a new commercial premises management company, wholly owned by the financial institution to manage for sale or rent the more than 1,033 branches that the bank is closing in recent months following the restructuring it is undertaking, with the departure of 3,572 employees in Spain.
