Until now, Manuel Bouzas was a partner in the firm’s International Tax and Transfer Pricing practice and has extensive experience in this area, both with Spanish and international companies.
Manuel Bouzas holds a degree in Law and Business Administration from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE E-3). He is a chartered account auditor registered in the ROAC, a registered lawyer and holds a diploma in International Finance and Accounting from the London School of Economics, a Master’s degree in Energy Law from the Spanish Energy Club and an Executive MBA from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid. He is also a lecturer on the Master’s Degree in Taxation at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and a lecturer in Transfer Pricing and International Taxation on the Master’s Degree in Tax Consultancy at the Instituto de Empresa at the EF Business School (Oleiros, Coruña).
He began his professional career as an account auditor at Arthur Andersen, later working at Garrigues and KPMG. He was currently a partner in the International Taxation and Transfer Pricing area.
During his professional career he has been involved in advising large multinational groups on taxation and transfer pricing, participating in numerous projects, in the design of transfer pricing policies, restructuring, due diligence and inspections and agreements with the tax authorities. He has also participated as a speaker at conferences and courses in the field of transfer pricing and national and international taxation.
