Pintó Ruiz & del Valle appoints new managing partner

Pintó Ruiz & del Valle has announced the appointment of David Peña Terreu as the firm´s new managing partner

David Peña holds a Law degree from Universidad de Barcelona and a Master’s degree in Law from Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE).

He has been a practicing lawyer since 1999. After 10 years at the firm as a lawyer, he started his own practice and later returned as a partner in 2015. He is a partner who specialises in legal management of civil and bankruptcy matters. He is part of the List of Insolvency Administrators of the Barcelona Bar Association since 2011, having been appointed Insolvency Adminisrator in several proceedings managed by the Commercial Courts of Barcelona.

David has been distinguished by Best Lawyers 2020 and 2021 as one of the best lawyers in the areas of Insolvency and Bankruptcy in Spain.

He teaches at the Master’s degree in Law at Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE).

Pintó Ruiz & Del Valle resulted from the alliance of two historical law firms: Bufete Pintó Ruiz (founded in 1903), cited in Barcelona and specialised in civil and corporate law and Del Valle Abogados (founded in 1910), cited in Madrid and specialised in industrial and intellectual property law.
