Raquel Blanco joins Pérez-Llorca as counsel from Linklaters, where she was a managing associate in the firm´s Real Estate department in Madrid.
She has extensive experience advising on acquisitions and disposals of all asset classes, sale and leaseback transactions, creation of real estate joint ventures and construction agreements. This includes advising clients on the sale and purchase of portfolios of mortgage and consumer loans, and distressed debt acquisitions (NPLs) among others.
Before joining Linklaters in 2015, Raquel was an associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, a firm she joined in 2012.
She was recognised by TTR as a Rising Star Dealmaker in the Real Estate market in 2020, and is currently one of the Chambers Europe 2022 Real Estate “Associate to Watch”.
Raquel Blanco holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration from Universidad de Valladolid. She collaborates with the British Institute of International Law and is a regular author at Thomson Reuters.
