Fernando de la Mata has extensive experience in judicial proceedings in civil and commercial matters, including proceedings related to corporate, banking, fundamental rights, obligations and contracts arising from M&A transactions and joint ventures, and civil liability. Likewise, he has worked as an arbitrator and counsel in various arbitration proceedings.
Fernando is a member of the drafting team of the UNIDROIT Principles of Transnational Civil Procedure and is an associate professor of private international law at the ESADE Law School. He also lectures on the Master’s degree in Law at the UPF. De la Mata has been recognised in various prestigious legal directories.
