Pérez-Llorca adds IP & Technology partner from Deloitte

Pérez-Llorca has announced the incorporation of Raúl Rubio, who joins from Deloitte where he was also a partner, as a new partner in the firm's Intellectual Property and Technology practice

With 27 years of experience in different law firms and national and foreign companies, until now, he was the head of the Digital Law area of a Big Four, Deloitte, in Spain.

Rubio specialises in providing legal advice in the fields of technology, digital transformation and services, audiovisual, advertising, intellectual property, media, privacy and image rights, information security, and electronic communications, among others.

Internationally recognised, Raúl Rubio is Band 1 in Chambers in the practice of ‘TMT: Information Technology’, Leading Individual in Legal 500 in the areas of ‘Industry Focus: TMT’ and ‘Data Privacy and Data Protection’, and since 2013 he has been recognised by Best Lawyers® in ‘Broadcasting Law’, ‘Information Technology Law’ and ‘Media Law’.

He combines his work as a lawyer with his teaching. Among the institutions and universities with which Rubio collaborates are the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE), where he teaches the Intellectual, Industrial Property and New Technologies module in the Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession, and IE Law School, where he is Director of the Cyber-compliance and Data Protection Programme.
