Pérez-Llorca adds Finance lawyer from Shearman & Sterling London

Pérez-Llorca has hired Mateo García Fuentes to work in the firm´s Madrid Banking & Finance practice area, joining from Shearman & Sterling London Finance group

Mateo holds extensive experience in M&A and Insolvency law. He joins Pérez-Llorca Madrid office from Shearman & Sterling Lonson office.,

He started his career at Argentinean law firm Racciatti & Hourquescos in 2018, joined Shearman & Sterling LLP Finance group in 2021, after achieving an LLM degree in Commercial and Corporate Law at Queen Mary university of London.

“I really look forward to starting working within such a challenging and dynamic team and hope to contribute to foster the growth of the practice. I am really exited to be joining the team and wanted to thank Ander Valverde and Eva Delgado for their trust. I am also particularly grateful to all the Shearman´s team and Gordon Houseman for their trust and amazing support during these months,” said the new Pérez-Llorca lawyer.

Mateo is a Juris Doctor by Universidad nacional de Rosario and holds a diploma in Constitutional Law from Universidad Austral.
