Rodrigo Martín is a lawyer specialising in the regulation and compliance of the Financial Sector, with experience in the development of authorisation dossiers before national regulatory bodies. He has participated in projects in the banking, securities and insurance sectors.
He joins the bank from KPMG Spain, where he joined in 2018 as a Financial Regulatory lawyer. Previously, he worked at New Legal Counsel, providing Legal advice to the Corporate Banking network of a national Financial Institution, involved in matters related to Corporate Finance, the provision of guarantees, Regulatory Compliance, as well as in judicial and extrajudicial claims. Previously, he worked at Crowe.

Rodrigo is a Law graduate from Universidad de Valladolid, and holds a double Mater´s degree in Access to the Legal Profession and Legal Advice to Companies, as well as special training from IEB in Financial Markets Regulation and in Business Value, Planning and Financial Services.
He joins the Legal team of Grupo Santander´s digital and online bank, headed by Marina Monasterio, current general counsel and secretary of the Board.
