Lucía González Fernández holds a law degree from the University of Santiago de Compostela and a master’s degree in corporate legal advice from IE and has extensive experience advising on M&A transactions, especially in the energy sector. He joined the firm in 2016 and has headed the transactional department of the energy area since 2019. She is a member of the board of directors of the executive programme in Renewable Energy Law at the University of Navarra and speaker at numerous postgraduate programmes and conferences, and events, and the author of several publications on M&A and Energy Law.
Jorge Perujo Fariña holds a Law Degree from the University of La Coruña and a Master’s Degree in Corporate Legal Consultancy from IE. He joined ONTIER in 2013 as a senior lawyer in the Corporate department, participating in large corporate transactions. In 2016 Jorge inaugurated a new stage in his career when he was appointed Country Manager of ONTIER in Chile, being in charge of opening the firm’s office in Santiago. For five years, Jorge Perujo carried out important business development work, building a young and ambitious team, specialising in advising global companies, mainly in the infrastructure and energy sectors. After his return to Madrid, he joined the Corporate and M&A team, where he led transactions for key clients of the firm with a strong international character.
These two new partner appointments in Spain are in addition to the incorporation so far this year of seven new partners in the Mexico City, London and Miami offices, as part of the strong international development and consolidation of teams in the firm’s different offices. Specifically, Citlali Pérez and Miguel Ishii in Mexico, Jason E. Rosen, new partner in Miami, and Amy Harvey, Aoife Keane, Felicity Potter and James Dixon in the United Kingdom.
