ONTIER adds two partners in Mexico

ONTIER continues to strengthen its position in strategic areas with two new partners in Mexico, Miguel Ishii Yokoyama in Corporate and Real Estate, and Citlali Pérez Renteria in Arbitration and Mining

ONTIER has incorporated Miguel Tsuyoshi Ishii Yokoyama, as partner of the Corporate and Real Estate practice, and Citlali Pérez Renteria as partner of the Arbitration and Mining practice, in a firm commitment to strengthen strategic areas as part of its international growth plan. Alejandro Segall Freidkes joins the team as of counsel for Civil and Commercial Litigation.

With these additions, the firm consolidates its commitment to growth in Mexico, reinforcing its teams in line with its objective of expansion and globalisation in the provision of comprehensive legal advice in strategic areas, both in Mexico and Latin America.

Miguel Ishii has more than 30 years of experience advising domestic and international clients on corporate, real estate, and transactional matters and is recognised for his innovative approach to all aspects of M&A, including the conception of corporate legal structures, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and trusts, and is actively involved in the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of loans and financings.

Miguel has been recognised by some of the industry’s most prestigious directories, such as Chambers & Partners, as one of the leading M&A lawyers in Mexico.

Miguel Ishii Yokoyama and Citlali Pérez Renteria join the Mexico office to reinforce strategic areas and strengthen the firm’s focus on the American market and the region.

With more than 20 years of professional experience, Citlali Pérez has developed her career providing legal advice in corporate transactional law, international commercial arbitration, and mining to carry out negotiations and implementation of national and international contracts and transactions in the retail, infrastructure, hydrocarbons, services, mining, rail transport, and energy industries.

Citlali has been recognised by some of the most prestigious legal directories in the sector, such as Chambers & Partners, Legal500, Latin Lawyer 250, Leaders League, International Advisory Experts, among others.
