Spanish Executive Resolution Authority (FRON) has approved a modification of its organisational chart, simplifying its Legal department. This change comes as a result of the departure of Alba Taboada, who until January headed the Legal department of the public body and who has joined the Spanish electricity operator OMIE as head of Legal and secretary of the Board
With Taboada’s departure, Amaia Rivas will take over as head of the Legal Department. Until now, this manager was in charge of the Directorate of Legal Relations with Investee Entities.
Alba Taboada is a State Attorney on leave of absence that joined FROB in 2015 and became its head of Legal in 2018.
Amaia Rivas is also a State Attorney. As a State Attorney, she has been deputy head of the State Tax Agency, and has also held positions in State’s General Attorney Office (SGC) and the Ministry of Justice, joining FROB in 2019 and becoming in 2020 chief of International Legal Affairs of the public body. She has now been promoted to head of Legal after Alba Taboada´s departure.
