This integration responds to a strategic move by a firm traditionally specialised in Labour and Social Security Law in Spain, in order to be able to offer its clients comprehensive advice that includes commercial and procedural law.

Ricardo Oleart, co-founding partner of Oleart Abogados, explains that this decision represents the culmination of a collaboration that has already proven to be efficient and beneficial for its clients: “We have been developing a fruitful alliance with Sánchez & Vidal-Abarca since 2016, and we have finally decided to integrate their lawyers specialising in Insolvency, Commercial, Civil and Litigation Law into our team.”

During these 12 years of experience, Oleart Abogados has established itself as one of the leading firms in the field of Employment and Social Security Law in Spain, advising leading international clients, or incorporating Francisco Pérez de los Cobos, former president of the Constitutional Court, as an of counsel advisor.

Gabriel Sánchez, partner of Sánchez & Vidal-Abarca, assures that this commitment will provide the clients of both firms with an integrated value proposition: “both geographically, with offices in Madrid and Barcelona, and in terms of the wide range of professional services that cover all sectors of law, especially Labour, Civil, Commercial, Administrative, Real Estate and Litigation”.

Jordi Oleart, partner of Oleart Abogados, adds that this process is accompanied by a renewal of the firm’s corporate identity and process optimisation: “We know how important it is to keep our solutions and proposals updated year after year, to remain at the forefront of advice on new labour relations”.

Alexandre Vidal-Abarca, partner of Sánchez & Vidal-Abarca, highlights the comprehensive advisory capacity resulting from this integration: “We accompany our clients, from various sectors, in all phases of the development of their businesses, from the creation of companies and management of their growth to business restructuring processes, refinancing and due diligence reports, through all angles of employment advice and in relation to Social Security, Civil and Administrative, Litigation, Corporate Governance and Compliance.”
