With 43 years of experience in environmental management and administrative intervention of activities, Dragone has played a key role in the Administration of the Generalitat de Catalunya, where he has worked since 1979, occupying for the last two years the position of Deputy Director General of Intervention and Environmental Qualification.
“I want to contribute my experience as the person responsible for the processing of administrative procedures for the environmental authorisation of activities and, on the other hand, to offer the firm my knowledge of the environmental administration in which I have spent my entire professional career and of the different actors involved in the environmental intervention,” said Emilio Dragone.
The lawyer has worked as head of the environmental prevention service for activities, as well as secretary of the Central Commission for Classified Activities, which has been replaced by the current Environmental Department. In the last two years, he has held the post of Deputy Director General for Environmental Intervention and Qualification. His profile stands out for his participation in the preparatory mechanisms for decision-making on environmental authorisations and for his experience in the drafting of regulations related to environmental administrative intervention and in the relationship with administrations, companies, consultancies, and environmental engineering firms.
His experience and knowledge in this area will become part of the firm’s added value.
