MAXAM adds Legal manager from DACHSER

MAXAM, a global company specialising in energetic materials. and one of the largest explosives manufacturers in the world, with its headquarters in Madrid, has hired Alberto Díez Rubio as Legal manager, joining from DACHSER, where he was Senior Legal Counsel & Regional Data Protection Officer Iberia

Alberto joins the multinational MAXAM from German freight company DACHSER.

He started his career as in-house counsel at Clínicas Vitaldent, where he also handled the company´s Wealth Management department. In 2008, he joined DACHSER as senior Legal counsel & Regional Data Protection Officer for Spain and Portugal, a position he has held for more than 13 years before joining MAXAM.

Alberto is a Law graduate and holds a Master´s degree in Telecommunications Law from IE Business School, where he also took Asset Securitisation training and and advanced programme in Legal Advice to Companies.

He lectures Commercial Law at Universidad CEU San Pablo and regularly acts as an author for articles on legal matters for IE and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in New York. He is also a qualified DPO by Thomson Reuters.

MAXAM is a global company specialising in energetic materials applied to the mining, civil engineering, defense and sport shooting cartridge sectors, anywhere in the world, with presence in morethan 50 countries and with more than 80 industrial facilities.
