Marsh appoints new head of Private Equity and M&A in Spain

Marsh has hired ex-Linklaters Beatriz Pavón Sánchez de la Blanca as the company´s head of Private Equity and M&A Practice (PEMA), joining from Marsh McLennan, where she was head of Transactional Risks Iberia

Beatriz will lead Marsh’s Spain Private Equity and M&A Practice.

Marsh is a leading provider of risk and insurance advisory and transactional risk insurance for mergers, acquisitions, divestments and other forms of coprorate transactions.The team develops solutions that help corporations, private equity firms, alternative asset managers, lenders and infrastructure investors manage risk, create value and accelerate growth through the investment lifecyle.

Prior to joining Marsh, Beatriz was head of the Transactional Risks Practice at Willis Towers Watson for Southern Europe and LATAM for over seven years, responsible for M&A advice on W&I insurance placements and transactional solutions. She qualified as lawyer in 2007 and developed her legal career at Linklaters, where she became a senior associate in the Corporate M&A practice, working as part of the firm´s London and Madrid teams.

She holds a Law degree with a certificate in Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas
