It will be the first Babylon theme park in Spain, a network of the world’s most technologically advanced indoor theme parks.
The Westfield Parquesur shopping centre, located in Leganés (Madrid), will host the opening of the first Babylon Park in Spain and the third in Europe. It will be the first flagship of the Babylon Park network, with 1,500 square metres and an initial investment of 5 million euros for the first phase. The space will include attractions such as a roller coaster, a free fall tower, bumper cars and merry-go-rounds, as well as video games, simulators and arcade, which will make it an ideal meeting place to celebrate special occasions, from children’s birthdays to corporate events.
The owner of the shopping centre, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW), continues with its commitment within the group’s global strategy to provide its assets with much more experiential and relevant proposals, such as the opening of this indoor theme park during the summer of 2023.
MAIO Legal advised Babylon Park with a Real Estate & Infrastructure team formed by partner César Álvarez and lawyer Marta Molina.
