Linklaters promotes Begoña Martínez to counsel

Linklaters has promoted managing associate Begoña Martínez to counsel, as part of the firm´s global round of counsel promotions

After Linklaters announced its latest global round of promotions, in which three counsel were promoted to the partnership in Spain (Esteban Arza, Gabriel Cabello and Pablo Medina), the firm has promoted Begoña Martínez, managing associate in the Banking and Capital Markets practice to counsel, effective May 1.

Begoña joined the firm in 2008. She holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, and is actively engaged in the firm´s learning hub for young lawyers. Begoña has advised on some of the most relevant Refinancing agreements, Restructuring of financial debts in the Spanish market and also regularly advises on syndicated loan matters, usually under the direction of renowned partner Ben Crosse. She also has experience in Insolvency and pre-Insolvency Law, especially in matters related to Restructuring plans and Refinancing agreements.
