The Belgian group will build a residence for the elderly with 162 beds in the Andalusian municipality, which it will lease under a 25-year contract to the French operator Amavir.
Cofinimmo has acquired the land through a subsidiary auction. Construction will start next month in the framework of a turnkey project. The geriatric residence is currently scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of 2024 to the French operator Amavir, which has signed a 25-year lease contract indexed annually to the Spanish CPI.
Amavir is part of the Maisons de Famille group, created in 2003, which operates 163 nursing homes in France, Italy, Germany, and Spain, offering some 18,000 places. In Spain, the group manages more than 40 residences with a total capacity of 8,000 places (residential and care).
