Linklaters adds Real Estate lawyer from Hogan Lovells

Linklaters has recruited Real Estate lawyer Carlos Gil Mesino, who joins the Magic Circle firm from Hogan Lovells

Carlos joins Linklaters from Hogan Lovells, where he was involved in all kinds of international and national Real Estate transactions, focused on advising developers, investment funds, REITs (SOCIMI) and other property companies on the acquisition, disposal and financing of shopping centres, hotels, office complexes, residential portfolios and logistic parks.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells in 2016, he worked at Blanco & Silva Abogados, working on M&A deals and VC incorporations, among other matters.

He was part of the Hogan Lovells team that, under the leadership of head partner Emilio Gómez Delgado, advised Leonardo Hotels on its acquisition of the Leonardo Boutique Hotel Mallorca Port Portals.

He holds a Law degree and a diploma in Business Law from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, as well as a double Master´s degree in Law Practice and Business Law from IE Law School.
