Raquel López Sánchez is the new associate Legal counsel for Lime’s Iberian market (Spain & Portugal). Lime is a leading global smart mobility provider for scooter and bike-sharing fleets, operating in more than 120 cities on five continents.
Prior to joining Lime, she was a Legal counsel in the Legal Operations Team of Tecnicas Reunidas, a Spanish stock listed company, which is specialised in large engineering and construction projects worldwide. In addition to her in-house counsel experience, she has more than four years of experience as a litigator in top-tier law firms, such as Clifford Chance, Pérez-Llorca and Herbert Smith Freehills.
Raquel holds a U.S Law degree (J.D. from Stetson University College of Law) and a Spanish Law degree (LL.B from University of Granada). She was admitted to practice law in Spain in 2017, after successfully completing the Master’s degree in Legal Practice at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and passing the National Bar Examination.
In the academic field, she has co-authored articles in various legal journals. On a regular basis, she helps students as an arbitrator in the International Commercial Arbitration VIS Moot competitions and others alike.
