Lexcrea promotes two to partner

Lexcrea has promoted Alejandro Safont and Robert Burgell to partners of the firm and keeps betting on its internal talent by valuing the team’s potential

Alejandro Safont, who has been part of the Lexcrea team since 2014, has been promoted to partner to lead the regulated entities area, one of the firm’s strategic verticals.

Alejandro Safont holds a Law degree and a Masters’s in Corporate Legal advice from IE. He has more than 15 years of experience advising private equity firms and other investment vehicles. Throughout his professional career, he advised the incorporation and approval by the CNMV of more than 30 funds.

Lexcrea also promotes Robert Burgell as a new partner in charge of the startups and venture capital area. Robert has extensive experience in M&A transactions and is an expert in advising startups.  Among the 22 deals advised by Robert in 2021, highlights include the acquisition of Swipcar by UK-based Caazoo or the €4.2M seed investment round in Gamestry led by Goodwater Capital, Target Global, and Kibo Ventures.
